Gustavo Vergara

Gustavo is the Head of Nuclear Reactor Components at Keel. He has been with Keel since 2024 and prior to that he served as an Officer in the US Navy for 30 years. Most recently he led surface ship maintenance for the Sixth and Fifth Fleets with ships stationed in Rota, Spain and Bahrain. He has extensive experience in nuclear submarine and aircraft carrier maintenance and was a trained naval nuclear propulsion officer.

He holds a Masters degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Systems Engineering and graduated from Duke University with a degree in Mathematics.
